Inevitable yet, frankly, undeniable, there are 3,145,728 things to love about our hottest gadget in the world right now - the new Apple iPad 3. That’s how many pixels Apple has crammed into its otherwise reassuringly familiar, third gen tablet. With more than a million more pixels than you’ll find in a full-HD TV, this kicks open the door to an even greater range of games, ebooks/mags and graphically intensive iOS 5.1 apps, helped further by the quad-core graphics.
Apple has also added LTE 4G connectivity, offering speeds so fast us Brits can’t even access them yet demand has seen widespread sell-outs and delivery delays. There’s plenty more to learn in our new iPad review, but we can safely sum up the new iPad in three words: hot as hell.
