Fancy viewing your digital photos on the telly, but don't want to buy a media streamer and can't stand the low-tech idea of burning photo CDs? Here's an alternative - a memory card-reader that plugs directly into your TV via an S-video or composite connection. As well as displaying JPEGs, you can also use it to play back MPEG movies and certain videos in AVI format from different kinds of memory cards (SD, Memory Stick or Microdrive). It's easy to use, but unfortunately, the box is ugly and it's a bit overpriced for what it offers.
