Radica Arcade Legends Space Invaders
Extra terrestrial entertainment on a shoestring
When the original Space Invaders console launched in Japan, the resulting over-excitement led to a nationwide shortage of the denomination of coin needed to play it. Now for a stack of only 250 10p pieces, you can play it to your heart's content on your telly, along with the quick-fire Phoenix and the long-forgotten Lunar Rescue, QIX and Colony 7.
The whole thing comes in the shape of a larger-than-life control pad, and while we don't need to reiterate how brilliant the co-headliners are, the other titles are considerably less impressive. We also recommend a second TV - otherwise you could be heading towards the domestic doghouse when the other half wants to watch EastEnders.
