Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures
First it was Star Wars, now LucasArts have Legofied the Indiana Jones Trilogy
The result is a childish, funny adventure, as addictive as your early morning Espresso.
Faithful to the film trilogy, you'll be escaping from a boulder, confronted by snakes and chased by Nazi's, with the whip as your weapon of choice for crossing chasms and flooring enemies, while smashing lego blocks galore.
From the horror of Short Round to the sublime Henry Jones Sr, all the familiar characters are there with their own skills you use to progress. Willie Scott's scream breaks glass to retrieve treasure, while Marion can climb up and retrieve a key.
But it's the humour that makes it more than a movie rip-off, with nods to the Star Wars trilogy: a rescued statue is actually C-3P0's head and you hear light sabre woosh as you brandish a sword.
XBox 360 graphics are really impressive, but the game is about as hard as a pensioners pillow fight, frustrating earlier battles are all the more tedious when you know from the film there's a hoard of Nazi's around the corner.
Lego Indiana Jones is meant for kids, but the wry humour will appeal to adults and any fan of the saga - and lets face it that's pretty much everyone. Hold on to your hats...
