We've been calling it the Wii 2 and Project Cafe, but finally Nintendo has officially revealed that the successor to the Wii will be called the Nintendo Wii U.

All was revealed at the Nintendo E3 2011 press conference as we got to see what we can look forward to from the next generation Ninty console when it launches in 2012.
