As Windows 8 landed in the UK the Xbox SmartGlass app joined in on the unifying experience by launching for Windows 8 tablets and surprisingly on Android smartphones just a few days later before an expected Windows Phone 8 arrival this week.
Set to bring Microsoft powered devices much closer together, SmartGlass essentially turns any tablet, PC or smartphone into a second screen that can be used as an interface to access video, music and gaming content on the Xbox 360 games console.
