At the time of writing, it’s just been rumoured that the next iteration of Apple’s Mac operating system, OS X Lion, will launch tomorrow (July 20th). The new software boasts features such as full-screen mode for apps, an iPad-like app launcher called LaunchPad, and a more comprehensive way to view all your running tasks, named Mission Control.

It’s certainly a move in the right direction, and it’s competitively priced as a £30 upgrade from the Mac App Store – assuming you already have OS X Snow Leopard installed. But are you keen?
