Sporty Merc C-Class saloon take on all corners
Feast your eyes on the new-generation C-Class from Mercedes Benz; it looks like an absolute monster. The four-door saloon and five-door estate goes on sale in March and takes on the ubiquitous BMW 3-series and Audi A4. It’ll be available in the UK in either SE, Elegance or Sport specification, depending on your tastes.
The entry-level C180 SE saloon boasts a 1.8-litre 115kw BlueEFFICIENCY engine which helps you get more miles to the gallon. If you’re in the upper tax bracket, the top spec C250 CDI estate comes with a 150 kw 2.14-litre BlueEFFICIENCY engine. A more powerful AMG version will be available sometime later this year as a saloon, estate and coupe, should speed be your thing. You’ll also be able to slot your mobile into the dash to access the internet and online features.
