100. November 2012: Toshiba STOR.E Slim
Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat… but Toshiba’s latest hard drives are going in the opposite direction. The new and peculiarly named STOR.E Slim is its smallest and thinnest external drive to date, stuffing 500GB of storage into a cavity no bigger than 107x75x9mm. The very tasty, brushed aluminium finish is perhaps the real selling point here, though, while USB 3.0 ensures speediness to the max.
