This Wi-Fi pocket tablet was one of the first Android PMPs on the scene and runs on Google's 2.3 Gingerbread operating system granting access content available on the Google Play store. The 3.2-inch, 480 x 320 capacitive touchscreen might not match the Retina display on the iPod Touch in terms of clarity, but it should take care of all the 720p HD videos you can consume. The Songbird player features both a customisable EQ and FullSound, a Philips technology that intelligently ‘fills in’ data lost during MP3 compression to make music sound cleaner and fuller. Throw in some noise isolating earphones, and you've got yourself an great Android-powered player priced in at just less than the iPod Touch.
