The 01 Phone: Specs and all

We want this phone, and we want it with these specs - now!

Yes, the 01 Phone was the work of T3's office render machine, that much is now clear. We didn't exactly hide it, with the actual phone screen displaying our very own site.

So why did we do it? Well as you can see from the updated 01 Phone site, we've decided to lobby the mobile industry to get this majestic phone made.

Check out the specs below, and see what a glorious tech world this could be, if only we had the 01 Phone.

Available on the iPod Touch, why can't we have it on a phone? Store thousands of tunes and videos on your mobile, not to mention everything else...

5.0-megapixel camera

Screw 8.0-megapixel phones, we'd rather 5.0-megapixel - two of 'em, actually. One on the front for video calling and another on the rear for pics. Nokia has managed to do it, so why can't everyone else?

3G internet

Access the tinterweb anywhere with the speed of Usain Bolt. On speed.

QWERTY laser keyboard

Slide the O1 Phone, and voila! It's a laser keyboard. This one is for those with delicate thumbs out there, or insanely porky digits.

Multimedia

32GB of storage and a huge screen makes the 01 Phone a video-watching and music-playing mothership. Not to mention the gaming abilities too...

Surely it can't be that hard? The formula's there: Add the Nokia N82 to an iPhone, add a sprinkle of an Sony Ericsson W890i and a touch of Blackberry Bold. Hey presto, perfection.
