Philips MMS321 PC speakers

Give your PC games the audio oomph they deserve.

When is a 2.1 system not a 2.1 system? When the ".1" - the subwoofer, in case you didn't know - is built into the two main speakers. Most PC speaker packages rely on a bulky separate sub to provide bass, but not Philips' slick MMS321 - each of the speakers features a mini sub (helpfully labelled "bass"), and these do a great job of putting some rumble into PC-based games, music and films.

The downside is the relatively large power supply which, while it takes up far less space than most subwoofers, may well pose a placement problem. Well, you can't have everything.
