Pure Evoke-2XT digital radio
A solid digital radio performer but where's the record function?
At a time when most manufacturers are adding recording capability to their digital radios, PURE has decided to leave that feature out of this model. It's disappointing, but you do get plenty of other useful goodies such as a line-in socket so you can use it as a set of speakers for your iPod, plus a USB port for loading software updates from a PC, and also a digital audio out.
The build quality is excellent and the sound quality from the speakers is good. So, although it might not be cutting edge in terms of features, it's still an impressive product.
