Packard Bell Net2Plug

Lightweight wireless PC home networking made easy

Fancy connecting your computers the easy way? This kit can magically turn standard electricity sockets into a home PC network. In the pack you get two plugs that connect to the wall sockets in the rooms where your PCs reside. You then run a cable from each plug to the nearby computer's USB socket, install some software on the PCs and hey presto - you have a computer network with a maximum speed of 14Mbps. The system works well and is simple to set up, but it only works with PCs, so you can't, for example, connect an Xbox or a media streamer. It may not be as flexible as a Wi-Fi network, but for those whose networking needs are modest, it's not a bad option.
