CES

The LG PC14 iPod speaker and HT33S surround sound system unveiled at CES 2009

Mark Levinson-tuned kit coming to a lounge near you.

Who’d have thought that CES would have brought with it new audio/visual tech? Well, us actually. Hot off the LG press are these two curvaceous lovelies; ready and willing to fill your ear holes with aural gratification.

Firstly, there’s the PC14, an iPod dock, DAB radio and slot loading CD player complete with a pumping red dimmer light that beats along with your music. It’s set to drop in May 2009.

Secondly is the HT33S small home cinema surround-sound system tuned to perfection by so-called ‘living legend’, audio expert Mark Levinson. The system has been gifted ‘Emotional’ touch-sensitive controls (ooh-err) and DVD upscaling abilities to HD levels. It’s out now in all its glossy splendor.
Oh, and it’s also a competent iPod dock – like most things these days.

No word on price yet, but we’ll keep you posted.
