Samsung's P3 PMP has haptics, measures just 0.39-inches at CES 2009
Stylish and packing in spec
Portable multimedia player with haptics and a 3-inch screen? Sounds impressive, and just adds to the force Samsung's propelling through CES with this year.
The P3 has combines a 3-inch WQVGA TFT-LCD with a 16:9 aspect ratio for on the go media viewing. EmoTure technology - no, that's not extra-hold hair gel for My Chemical Romance obsessives - ensures every touch on the screen has a haptic response.
DNSe 3.0 sound enhancment technology sprinkles fairy dust on music tracks, so that "users can enjoy sound quality that more accurately matches the tone and feel originally intended by the audio producer" according to Samsung.
In addition to music and video playback, it also stores photos, can be used as a voice recorder, FM radio and portable hard drive. Measuring 0.39-inches thin, it works alongside a bluetooh enabled phone, so users can answer calls through the player using the built-in microphone.
Available in Q1 2009, it will come in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB storage capacities.
