JVC Teledock: iPod-friendly TVs at CES 2009

And now for something completely different...

JVC's new range of TVs features enhanced iPod compatibility. You can play music from your player while watching TV, letting you add your own soundtrack to a show of your choice.

Launched today at CES, the Teledock range also features a remote which has an iPod Classic-style ClickWheel to mimic the 'Pod's UI, making flicking through tunes a doddle.

Of course, you can also charge your iPod in the integrated dock, show movies and pics straight on it, and play music through the sound system.

The docks flip down at the base of the sets, so are inconspicuous when not in use.

For the more hardcore telly addict, you've also got three HDMIs, full HD playback, digital noise reduction and dynamic backlight.

There are five models in the range: the 32-inch LT-32P300, 42-inch LT-42P300, 46-inch LT-46P300, and two Clear Motion Drive models – the 42-inch LT-42P500 and the 46-inch LT-46P500.

Expect to see them all this April.
