ASUS launches the Eee Keyboard

Because desktops are so last year

Who needs a desktop box and screen? Not ASUS - it fits all of your PC functionality into the Eee Keyboard.

Yes, the Eee franchise continues apace, getting more ridiculous by the month. Described as a 'fully functional PC', the Eee Keyboard packs a full set of QWERTY keys along with a secondary screen touchscreen, the idea being that you just plug it into your TV, should you want to a net break when the ads kick in or if you want to stream your digital content to a large screen.

It packs a pile of connectivity, including wireless HDMI and (we presume) its own chip, RAM and storage - although ASUS was being vague about all three at launch, perhaps because this is still in concept stage.

It is a very finished concept though and with the Eee tag attached, we can safely assume this isn't going to break the bank either. We like it, even if it does remind is of those old Bush internet TV boxes a little.
