Boston Acoustics TVee Model Two
Two channel stereo that'll put the fad for soundbars firmly in the shade. Banging house at the ready.
In the court of new technology, few will argue that the sound bar is currently king. But while big-name wannabes are wrestling for the pseudo-surround sound throne, Boston Acoustics has nicked the crown jewels with this stereo only effort. Yep, you read that right, this is two-channel sound given a sonic supercharge.
Targeted at flatscreen tellies in the 32-inch and over range, the Tvee Two hooks up via a single cable to the TV's line audio output and cranks out an almighty 100W bellow, boosted by its titchy wireless subwoofer sidekick. Inside the sound bar nestle four 2.5-inch mid bass drivers and two half-inch dome tweeters like wafery layers in a finger of Kit Kat, while the Munchies-esque sub sports a six-inch down-firing bass driver.
In comparison to the stereo performance of any TV we can think of, this chocolatey twosome absolutely rocks. Things can go really loud before any distortion creeps in, while the sub provides plentiful depth and weight. BA has also built a learning remote function in, so you can control it with your current telly wand, the crazy fools.
