Our Accessibility Features

The current version of this website employs the following accessibility features:

  1. Browsers: say which browsers the site has been optimised for
  2. The site has been built using css for layout. The sytlesheets can be disabled if required.
  3. Text sizes: relative font sizes have been used so that the text can be re-sized.If you use a modern browser e.g. Internet Explorere 7, or Firefox 2, this can be done using the following key combinations:
    • Ctrl and + : this increases the font size
    • Ctrl and - : this decreases the font size
    • Ctrl and 0 (zero) : this resets the font size to the default
  4. Inclusion of descriptive alt tags for images (unless purely decorative)
  5. Site map for information on layout
